Sometimes our marketing department ask us to add something extra to the launch of our games. In this case we were tasked to make a teaser for the upcoming "Gonzo's Treasure Hunt".
Gonzo is a pretty old IP and one of the biggest challenges was to update him for a more modern workflow. Both his rig and textures had to be refreshed. The second largest hurdle was the render times, but with we had a budget for using render farms and we managed to meet the deadline in the end.
My roles were to create the sets, model extra assets, make textures, lighting, set up renders and composite.
